debt agency telephone numbers

Hi I am still after numbers, I've had to delay updating my website (fighting debt) and here due to an eye op but am back on the ball now. :-)

I've got just over 3000 numbers as been gathering them from sites like this and messages to me via websites / forums, but I need more!

I'm halfway through going through all numbers entered on whois caling just to grab debt agencies and thats what is taking me time, millions and millions of posts gone through but I've found some real gems.

I'm also trying to upload the numbers in a way that search picks up so am going to post them al here (probably in about 3 posts, its that long!)

I did get contacted by Truecall asking for a lisst of the numbers in a certain format but thats gone quiet. Anyone had any experience with them? They sound friendly enough but their equipment seems pricey for those who are probably trying to block calls from dca's.

Why anyone would seriously use your info , given that nothing can be resolved to a debtors advantage , by calling any of them , is a mystery to me

because people want to know who is calling them.

I don't encourage people to call back, I've been in the situation of abusive calls when what has been agreed over previous calls was seemingly forgotten...
I do everything in writing now

Good work on the list, it will be useful and some people may wish to save the number in their mobiles as a "Idiot 1" or "Idiot 2" etc....But:

NEVER ANSWER or CALL THESE NUMBERS BACK

Always. ALWAYS do everything in writing. These are not banks and You cannot trust most of these companies as far as you can throw them. Always send recorded mail and in any letter tell them you do not want them to telephone you back, any further contact will be received as Harassment.

The thing is I know now not to call them back, but not everyone follows this advice given by many on sites like this.
People who are desperate and believe letters sent to them will call, unfortunately.

Just because we are knowledaable to know now that that is not the way to deal with DCA's, not everyone is. If someone googles a number and finds either the list here, or n my site or on whocalls me then that means another person getting help on how to deal with DCA's and how to get support on dealing with debt.

I'm not quite sure what you are trying to suggest, maybe nothing...
