New house has a plastic door, with a shaped bit at the top to make it draft free, so I can't use one of those hook bracket things that fits over the door.
What is the best way to fix it then pls...?
The door has glass windows in top half, my old wooden front door just had a nail banged in!
Any suggestion gratefully received.

Right what I have done is use a computer plastic cable tie hook, I am not sure what they call them, had a look on the net for a picture. I got mine from B&Q in computer section years ago. Pc build companies using them. Basicallys its a square plastic with a hook and one side its adesive that can easily be pulled off. They use it in pc cases to tie cable too. I use this to stick on door and attache the wreath and use either a cable tier can be found in most hardware stores or those thin plastic/wire tiers you get with goods sometimes with bread.0

We used a long bit of green garden wire last year. We found a reel of the stuff in the garage and made a double style hook with it so that it hooked over the top of the front door and hooked the wreath in place. I think we might have a go with the pc hook this year, just gotta find one!0

Presumably you can also use one of the self-adhesive kitchen/bathroom hooks? Only problem I can think off is that you probably can't get them off easily, and it could look somewhat silly for the 11 months of the year when you don't have a wreath hanging from it........
How about those kitchen/bathroom hooks that affix by vaccum? They should stick ok to plastic, or glass, and can be removed easily too.0 -
The rest of the year you can hang a "No Salesmen" sign on it! :rotfl:0

M & S sell a wreath holder that hooks over the top of the door that you can hang the wreath on, I think it is about £5.0

Too complicated guys. Just use a long piece of cloth ribbon. Loop around the wreath over the door & tie letter box inner flap. Ribbon is so slim it doesn't interfere with the door seals or make the door difficult to close. If your lucky you'll even get the ribbon free on a pressie.0

Suction hooks which are available in 2 diff sizes at Homebase. Just a vinyl suction cup(clear ) with either a hook or a clip on-if they have any left! I wanted some for my rope lights but they have sold out at my homebase. Try all the DIY places around you. No glue, no mess, and cheap-reusable multipurpose too!Annual Grocery budget 2018 is £1500 pa £125 calendar month £28.84 pw for 3 adults0

harpo1's idea is superb - - - add a couple of blobs of blue tack (or white tack) to it to affix the ribbon, and you are on to a winner, even if you have no letterbox flap to tie the ribbon to!0
