Booking direct with Virgin Atlantic

I've booked to go to Orlando direct with Virgin Holidays and I have learned the following:

1) If you book via the phone and pay via a virgin credit card you will receive 10% discount.
2) you must pay both your deposit and remaining balance with the same card
3) you need to tell them you have a virgin credit card when you book

good luck! i got in too late and missed the discount which in my case would have been £300 and very handy for the parks!

i still recevied a better price via telephone than their website.

I am due to go to Barbados with Virgin Holidays next month - found out last week that they had changed my hotel to a completely different location. Can only get to speak to someone in call centre in India who has not helped at all!

If you go onto the Virgin Website there is an option on the top right of the screen to get help. It puts you through to a virtual on-line rep - mine's called Valerie. Link to virgin site

Do you know what hotel they have put you in as my sister-in-law has just come back from Barbados and I might be able to get you some info on it. Whilst she was there I asked her to check out a few hotels for me.

I have used the redeem 2000 miles before to the USA and saved over £300 each flight, it works better when the flight prices are really high.

I have also booked 2 flights solely with miles only to find I still had £600 still to pay in the taxes.

We have been moved to the Escape and Spa in St James which is not thought of very highly on Tripadvisor! We wanted to be nearer Oistins and not have to get taxis etc whenever we went out!
