Hi All,
I am looking to switch electricity suppliers as i could save about £160 a year  !!
I live in a small block of flats and the meters in a little cubby hole, on the wall outside my front door. There is a door on the little cubby where the meters are but i don't have a key for it - and it's locked!!
I know that to switch i'll have to give the new suppliers an accurate reading so does anyone know whre i can get a key from??
My current supplier is Eon.
Thanks

Is it one of the grey boxes that needs a blue plastic key thing to open like many meter boxes I wonder? If it is, then EON could send you one. If not, then their meter readers must be able to open it as they can't rely on having one person in charge of the building to let them read the meters surely? I'd ring EON and ask them how to open the box.0
