Morning,
I have been directed to this board from Debt Free Wanabee and would like to ask for some advice please.
I have a number of debts, most of which are on payment arrangements set up in March 2006 (see http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1206841 for full details)
I would like to start paying more off in order to reduce my debt, but I am worried that if I start making bigger payments they might think I can afford more and demand full repayment or start charging interest again.
I would like, therefore, to put the money I can spare into a savings account and then pay off the debts one by one in full once I have enough saved.
The problem is that if I know I can access the money I spend it!!
What I am looking for is an account that can be opened with a reasonably small balance (ie less than £100), doesn't have internet banking and that requires me to go into the branch to withdraw funds (preferably using a book that I can give to my partner to hide!)
Any ideas?
Thanks
Fizz
