help cant use any links getting white screen

please can some one help me any links i click on just get white screen

Sounds like your browser may have been hijacked. Do you run anti-spyware programs? Anti-virus program? Firewall?

If all of these are running and up to date, try running HijackThis:

http://www.download.com/HijackThis/3000-8022_4-10227353.html

and see if there are any programs running that shouldn't be.

Open Internet Explorer, Tools, Internet Options, Programs, Reset Web Settings,
Take out tick from Reset Home Page Then Click Yes, Ok, OK

What Intel says is spot on (hope it works) but the point of my post is a warning.

If you do decided to use HijackThis (as mentioned by Wombat) you could indeed LOOK to see if there's anything you don't like but DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING using HJT otherwise you could easily end up completely trashing the operation of your PC. The use of HJT as a tool to "fix" somehting should ONLY EVER be done with help from folk who know how to use it properly.

If you run HJT post the resulting Notepad log back to this thread and I'll have a look at it for you.

i ran a free scan of hijack this and it came back with 27 different items how do i post this to you??????

i have downloade spy doctor could not find hijackthis or is this the same programme
