Found mine behind the kiddies comics in WHSmiths in chatham i think its an old trick of hiding it and coming back later for it (yes i have done that )

Text all my female friends loads have found them in the big stores/newsagents all in black and all loving the mascara not keen on the glossy mag no wonder its out of business six overpriced adverts before you reach an article that is for an anorextic 18 year old with a job paying 75k a year!

Does anyone knbow if you are employed by the tax man and then they find nothing wrong with your books- whether or not you can claim compensation for your time and traverl costs?? I have read in "WHICH" magazine you can and i have also rung the tax people but they said there is no such claim form for claiming things like that:rolleyes:

Thankyou all for your continuous updates. I was mostly interested in the dates that people were posting to see if it was still available and new ideas as to where i can find it!! Since this offer was posted in Martin's weekly email (sure it's been a few weeks now!) i have only just managed to get myself a copy!! woopp woopp lol I had actually accepted defeat and settled on the fact that i will never ever be able to get a copy, so to get it when i least expected it (yesterday, 5th Nov), and where i least expected it (Leeds General Infirmary! there was one more copy left btw!!), left me with a big satisfied sad cow kinda smile on my face for a good few hours.

Top mascara btw! Well worth the £3.40.

That will explain why it wasn't available as an option on Tesco Clubcard deals Magazine subscriptions when I went to renew it a couple of weeks ago

Got mine on Tuesday, the mascara's not bad, but I usually use Dior Blackout mascara which is the best I've ever tried!

And on a side note, that's the first time I've ever bought Eve and I really enjoyed reading it, I would definitely have bought it again, shame I won't get the chance xxx

On a related point, i subscribed to Marie Claire because it was 6 for £6 - by some hiccup (I assume) I then recieved £50+ of Body Shop products as a subscription gift. I don't think I should have but it's their mistake - so that's close to £80 of mags and skincare for £6, now that's a good buy!

I noticed how the moment it went on here, we got every shop selling out within days. It's a shame the credit crunch has meant they're finished now. I liked Eve.

I don't think they sold out the moment this went on here. I originally posted this on 9th October. I would expect them to be running out 4 weeks later.

It is a shame though because it got me to buy the magazine and I quite enjoyed it. Probably would have bought it again.

I also liked Eve and think the mascara's acceptable for a freebie.

Shakka, it is more than acceptable. Some magazines give away generic, unbranded mascaras which I'd never use as I would want a trusted brand.
