Hiya Drunk Tinkerbell,

Im new here, i also am on day 16 with no reply yet! At least we havent had a no so im hopefull!
I have sent 2 emails to Romany to check they have received my application but have had no reply!

Stick in there, everyone!
As I've said before, I waited just over a month from sending off my test to finally emailing Romany to ask whether I'd passed - and I had.

I've been AQAing for about 3 months and I love it.

i asked why street lights in the distance flicker

reply back was that heat ommitted from the road rises & distorts the light. Which is complete rubbish, it's to do with wavelength

The new AQA book of top questions and answers is out soon - called 'Brilliant Answers' - and it includes a section called 'those that didn't make it' - a selection of questions and answers from AQA applicants who didn't get the job! Might be worth checking out!

The sample from that section is:

Q. How many points will I get on my license for going through a red light?
A. Unfortunately dear, you will not get any points driving through the red light because it is against the driving rules.
