Hi all,
Been trying to get hold of a central heating person in the Surrey/Hants/Berks borders, but can i? no chance
Most, when they did turn up, either havent proceeded with giving me a quote, or gave me a quote (which i accepted) but has been unobtainable since, i've have left messages etc and had no return call
All i'm asking for it for the old system to be removed, boiler and cylinder, and a new combi boiler and 7 rads to be fitted.
Can anyone recommend?
Thanks !

Hi Sentinal,
can't recommend anyone, but this is how I sorted mine out....
Speak to a letting agency - they have contacts with tradesmen that they call out to deal with the properties they manage. Usually these tradesmen are reliable (otherwise the tenents get shirty about problems and don;t pay their rents!) and usually are reasonably priced (otherwise the landlords get shirty about high maintenance charges).
Worth a go anyway

You'd be wise NOT to choose anyone that has quoted, but you can't get hold of them at this stage - hate 2 think what it'd be like if you had a problem, after installing!!
& how about getting British Gas or EON or whichever power company is touting for business, currently. They might be keen to haggle (a bit) if you've got a written quote from your independent.
Yes, I know other Moneysavers will say NOT to use these big names, but if you've REALLY got stuck fora recommendation, it's got to be worth getting a quote, at least.
