As with everyone else I am certainly relieved that our British government has bailed us out at IceSave.
Following advice on this forum I am going to print out the savings records from IceSaves site, however what do we do next?

Presumably, sit back and await developments.
There will be a lot of high-level discussion and sorting-out going on.
I can't see what else we can do.0 -

That's pretty much what I was thinking, I am bewildered as to how our money will be paid back, although the chancellor has said it will be done in 6 weeks or less.0 -

According to what I have read the FSCS will be contacting all of Icesaves customers, apparently they are busy ATM printing out the forms. We have to wait for them to contact us.The FSCS will provide further information for customers shortly, to set out what will happen next and how they can make a claim.
Icesave also intends to provide more information to customers as soon as possible.0 -
Have a beer.
Relax.
Go for a walk, enjoy a good sunset. Cuddle up with your wife/husband/significant other.
Enjoy life.
Things like this are really to teach you that there's more to life than percentages and government guarantees.0 -
Indeed. And make sure you fill it in and send it back quick to get to the head of the queue.

I felt confident I'd get mine back, as I reckoned on the Government would honour their "£33K" part for everyone, which easily covers me. However, hats off to them anyway - without doubt we are still quite fortunate and relieved.
And as for those that had far in excess of £50K (or £35K as they'd have known at the time) ... lucky, lucky, lucky! :j0 -
