It gives them carte blanche to take unspecified amounts out of your account whenever they feel like it - leaving you to argue the toss about whether it was a mistake or not.
The Direct Debit Guarantee - fine , if you can agree it was a mistake.
Stay in control & avoid banks who insist on a Direct Debit mandate.
