this TB2Categories000.dat icon has appeared on my desktop

hi, i have this TB2Categories000.dat icon on my desk top. i clicked on it to open but nothing happens . i dont know how it got there , but mp pc is running slow ie very poor responsive mouse.
i want to unistall this but i cant . how can i get rid of this file . wen i click on it , it states it was created on 28 sept. so i done a system restore a week earlier for the 21 sept but that dam icons still on my desktop. im sure it has something to do with my pc playing up .
any advice or help would be most appreciated
