Buying Glasses (Prescription) On Ebay

I need a new pair of glasses and Specsaver and such like just too expensive.

So I looked at sites recommended by Martin and seen some ok ones.

But thought would look on Ebay and found some on there. Mainly just the frame and then get the lenses elsewhere. But found one seller milano_eyewear who will give a price for the lenses too.

Anyone dealt with this seller? Or bought glasses/lenses on Ebay? The seller only has 2 negatives in 12 months but 100s of postives

What's the total price they are offering you for lenses and frames?

    I can recommend www.goggles4u.com
My last pair I got from them cost me less than £15. They also give you free coatings on the specs.....antiglare, UV and scratch resistance.

    I have also used http://www.glassesdirect.co.uk/
Prices start from £15. Not sure if they charge more for the coatings though.

    Mine came from Pakistan.
  • Frames where around £20 and the lenses about £20-£30 too

Personally I think that's a lot of money to buy from an e-bay seller. If I was going to spend £40-£50 on specs I'd get them from the high street.
For that money you could buy online from a reputable company and get 2 or 3 pairs of specs....obviously depending on how expensive your taste is :D
