  • I saw this and read their PDF stating that all savings are safe. Don't feel the need to panic and move all my money out of KE just yet (are they even allowing withdrawals at the moment?).

    I assume the rates will drop and I'd rather be covered by UK compensation than Dutch, but I'm not sure where a relatively secure home for my funds would be.

    Would it be sensible to move my KE funds into the Bradford & Bingley 6.51% esaver? As far as I am aware, the rate is one of the best and the bank is now relatively "safe".

    I'm leaving mine in ING Direct now. ING are a huge player seems to be in a rather strong position in the current market. Remember ING took over Barings when Leeson nearly sent the bank to the wall.
