Where should I buy my Christmas cake?? (merged threads)

the vegan xmas cake recipe is v cheap considering the high quality end product. My first port of call for any gaps in my cooking equipment is the local charity shop - or borrow a tin from someone. If you cant find the recipe i will repost it. I made 2 last year, one for me and one for my neighbour - it was the best present i could have given anyone. In the past I have had aldi's dundee cake which WAS ok and met my requirements re. moistness and fruitiness!Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:

..........if you're looking for suggestions, I like the fruit (not sponge) Christmas cake by Marks & Spencer. It's always excellent quality.10 Dec 2007 - Led Zeppelin - I was there. :j :cool2: I wear my 50 (gold/red/white) blood donations pin badge with pride. Give blood, save a life.
