Dee, sorry haven't a clue it was just something I came across when I was trying to get rid of mine which in the end had liquid nitrogen treatment and then surgery and I still have a patch of hard skin there which would be a wart if it had the brains!0

My 11 year old daughter (10 at the time) had them burnt off at the doctors with an appliance like a soldering iron. I had already tried various creams, potions and homeopathic remedies on them but nothing worked. That was about 9 months ago and they havn't come back since. If a 10 year old can have it done without wincing maybe you could too?2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040

My friend swears by rubbing them with a bronze coin. She said she used to have a large wart on her fingertip just under the nail. She said that she kept her loose change in a pot in her kitchen and when she went in there, she rubbed the wart with a 2p coin. She swears it disappeared very quickly, having had it for ages. Haven't tried it myself though0

My son had loads on his hands when he was about 10.
Used wart removing stuff from the chemist - no joy.
Had them frozen off - came back.
Months later (they were growing & increasing in number, still) bought some Aloe Vera Gel at a summer fair. He used it morning & night like handcream, & in 2 weeks they'd gone never to return. :j:D:beer::eek::A:p:rotfl::cool::):(:T0 -
But I do think warts (and veruccas) can just go on their own when they're ready, so unless they are painful or bothering us we have used the 'ignore them and they'll go away' strategy in our family to quite good effect. DH has used all the liquids known to man at various times, and nothing really seems to work on him: he has also had some veruccas frozen off his feet and says "Never Again!"Signature removed for peace of mind0
