Kaupthing NOT releasing fixed term deposits

I called Kaupthing last Friday with a request to break my £35K FTD. They agreed and advised that the monies would be in my account within 48 hours and available for me to BACS/CHAPS at my leisure.

The money still has not been placed into my account (it shows as fixed term deposit on login).

I eventually got through to KE this evening and was advised that due to a very busy weekend they were still processing requests and as a result COULD NOT tell me when the funds would be released.

Has anybody who's called KE since Friday received their FTD's?

Similar situation here. I phoned them on Tuesday to break my 6 monts fixed term and was told that it would take 48hours to appear in my savings account. As of tomorrow morning the 48hours will be up and am waiting to see if I'll have my money where I asked it to be.
