Leave Martin Alone

I am getting Sick and fed up off People blaming Martin...

Martin Lewis and this website are all about showing us the good deals out there And ICESAVE was a good deal, No body knew this was going to happen (and yes i have money in Ice save). Martin Lewis and this website have saved me lots of money.

Through this site i found Quidco, in 4 years ive saved over £1500 from that alone, I have got cheap Christmas presents found Loop Holes and got a Excellant mortgage.

Martin just shows us where to get the deals it is totally up to us if we take them !! (No-one is forcing us).

SO i think everyone Should Leave MARTIN alone..........................

What happens if he stopped this site, Think of all the more money you would have to spend !!

I know! Martin's still a consumer champion, always on our side helping us find a great deal.

To be honest Icesave were cleared by the regulators to trade in the UK so if anyone is to blame it's them. As it stands they were offering UK accounts it's the global market that's caused the problems, and isn't just happening to icelandic banks, everyone is feeling it.

I'll still listen to Martins advice, it was my choice to join them and by the looks of it the government will still cover us, so it's all good. It's a desperate desperate person who tries to blame Martin for all this.

Totally agree, his advice is very sound and we should all do our own research anyway and make our own decisions. He constantly reminds us all about the compensation figure, I myself have savings above this in Bradford and Bingley so how worried have I been before the takeover but I took the risk. We are all adults on here, make our own decisions but lets leave Martin alone.

People on here sound like his mother!!! :D I am sure he can defend himself and has done and everyone knows he is not to blame. Lets see him concentrate on the people who ran Icesave in the Uk and who lied to us very recently. We deserve an explanation from the board of icesave why they lied.

    :money: go get them!!

One gripe I have with Martin is that is was not until his channel 4 interview with John Snow that he revealed Iceland's deposit guarantee scheme was 'a little dodgy'. That was an understatement as it appears to have been worthless thanks God for British intervention.

I think this entire episode rightly or wrongly has damaged Martin Lewis's reputation.
