Yeah I'm aware if it's an appliance or whatever it would be the landlord. Heaters don't come on at all (we have to manually switch them on, and we haven't), I will definately double check it has been read the right way around though, particularly as I found an old thread with virtually the same value bill as us (£1600) in which this had been the case!
Here's to hoping that's the cause... hehe0
