CALLING ALL THOSE who "CLOSED" ICESAVE ISA (using CHAPS) before 7th October .....

I, like many others, "closed" my ICESAVE ISA the day before it all went wrong (CHAPS).
I still have £1 left in my icesave savings a/c, so I can still log in...
When I log in, my ISA has "vanished" from the screen. I now know that the money did not leave, and that it's in their system, although I can't see that...
My CONCERNS are....
Will it reappear over the coming days when I log in....? (As though I never closed my isa)?
As I opted for ANNUAL INTEREST, the interest was not reflected in the amount I was trying to withdraw, and so I don't know how much interest has been earned upto the 7th October.... (i.e., What amount WOULD have been withdrawn, had it gone through)...
My MAIN worry is the interest earned in my ISA before the 7th October?? Will I get this....?
So all those in the same boat as me, please join in, as a problem shared, is a problem halved.
Thanks in advance.
Goldfinger.

Just heard Martin Lewis on "It pays to watch", say that we may NOT receive interest earned, that hasn't been paid to accounts (for example my ISA with annual interest).
So if this is true, it means that all the time icesave have had my isa money, I haven't earned a single penny interest! F***ing B*****ds:mad: Plus I'll probably have to wait 3 or 4 months to get my initial deposit back - Months and months where no interest will have been earned whatsoever!
I don't normally get angry, but this is really p***ing me off.
Sorry for the rant, but sometimes you just have to vent.
This is the end for ICELAND - I hope.0 -
I transferred money from my Icesave account last Saturday (4th) morning.
On Monday my Icesave account had been Debited and I was expecting the Money in my HSBC account today.
I have just logged on to Icesave and they have put the money back in the account and hence cancelled the transfer. The statement clearly shows my withdrawal on the 4th and the re-instatement today.0 -
This just shows that it's probably best to get monthly interest rather than annual interest. To be honest I never thought a scenario like this would actually happenKrusty & Phil Madoff, 1990 - 2007:

When the forms come through I shall be claiming my interest owed up to point the bank failed...after all Mr Darling said savers would lose NO money as a result of the collapse...those that were paid monthly wont so why should we! The interest lost while we wait for our money back...fair enough, but not what is ALREADY ours but just missing from the balance sheet. Anybody fancy a march to No. 11?

You're lucky to get the money back full stop. You can't really complain if you lose a bit of interestKrusty & Phil Madoff, 1990 - 2007:
