sony camera lens won't open

hi hope someone might be able to help my sony dsc w55 lens won't
open. screen at the back come's on with this message access.then turn the power on and off.camera only 6 month's old bought it in dubia so sony uk won't fix it under their warranty.:rolleyes:

try googling the problem
you may find a forum or sony site with some help
i guess that unless it's an expensive camera the cost of repair will probably more than a new one

thank's nickj just googled it like you said .found that if you give it a good bang on the table .the len's opened atreat.thank's again:j

What worries me is that someone initially tried that. :rotfl::rotfl:
