  • I think it depends entirely on the mobile you are using. It works on my nokia which is 02 pay as you go but will not work on hubbys motorola v220 also on pay as you go.

Does anybody know if this works on I-mode phones? My NEC phone isn't listed (niether is any) and I really want to take advantage of this offer. It sends the settings but nothing happens and the phone just makes a buzzing noise as if a text is about to come through but nothing happens at all.
IF I HAVE BEEN OF USE TO YOU, THEN PLEASE CLICK THAT THANKS BUTTON :)

Is your mobile gprs enabled for internet? im think there was a link on the site to get the settings for o2 mobiles or try this link..

    http://www.o2.co.uk/productsservices/ota2/input1/0,,181,00.html

GPRS works fine, but I've never been able to get any internet-requiring Java apps to work as they all need to use this "Mobile Web" lark. :(

Anyone had this working with Virgin. I contacted cust services last night to get wap setup to get it working. Haven't received a thing. Even tried the manual steps through sms but that wasn't received either. Got my partner to text me normally and it was received.

    HELP?

do you think as an o2 PAYG user I could perhaps just say it's a contract phone and then use it.. as I do have internet.

My daughter has a little motorola flip phone on Virgin which worked fine- think it may be to do with the handset?
