    You won't get FENSA approval if you put it in yourself - a good enough reason not to!

    You can put them in yourself. You don't not to be Fensa approved, but you would need the installation approved by your local planning office. Same thing is true these days for a replacement boiler and even a replacement hot water cylinder.........bizarre some of the regs we are starting to see.
