Can anyone confirm KE AND ING deal and what happen next, I still have some money with KE fixed saving which i have requested to be transferred to a regular saving since monday and up to this moment nothing seem to have happen.
I will appreciate any advice how to get access to me money with KE.

Is anyone out there putting any money INTO KE Fixed rate accounts?
I just opened a KE Fixed rate account for my wife before the "muck hit the fan" and have yet to make a transfer in. Should I leave my cash where it is ??0 -

Yep, me. Tonight. Grab those rates before they disappear.

Without wanting to be too down on those off to bed, reading between the lines of the ING statement , ING will be offering us all some of its own 'competitive' products. I dont see our current rates lasting past the reorginisation. Hope im wrong.0

I put a few grand into a KE account about a month ago and have been watching the unfolding events with great interest! I haven't posted about it up till now, but I read all the threads on it last night.
I feel reassured that my savings are now with ING instead of Iceland - I know there are plenty who claim to have seen this coming months ago, but it's easy to say that in hindsight.
On a lighter note (and I say with my tongue in my cheek) I'm not sure how reassured I feel about this sentence from the ING statement via the link above:
"The Dutch economy is one of the strongest with a AAA (triple A) rating which is exactly the same credit rating as the UK."
No offence to our Dutch friends but I think I'd rather deal with the British authorities than theirs should things go belly-up. That was one of the reasons I chose KE (as it was FSCS backed). But I'll let things calm down first and see what the word on the street is. Mind you, who knows what's going to happen in the meantime!0 -

You took the words right out of my mouth. Without wanting to sound greedy in this difficult time (but I don't think I can really avoid that!) will KE customers keep the same interest rates that they signed up for or is this unlikely? Does anyone know? The reason I ask is that I signed up for a 3 year fixed rate account only a few days ago and my money was transferred into it yesterday. Wondering if it was the best option now.
Also, on a different noe, do any KE customers know if I would be charged for withdrawing the money early from my fixed rate bond? Many thanks!0 -
I very much agree John S, see other thread 'Now that KE is ING'.0

But what about people who have transferred from KE and still don't have it in their linked accounts?0
