Memory stick

Can someone suggest a good memory stick for my son (you never know he might need to do some work for his degree over the holidays  ) I know very little about them.
I am sure there have been threads about them but couldn't find any and whenever I use the search facility I get none found...

I would try https://www.amazon.co.uk or https://www.play.com.
They come in different sizes - 64mb, 128mb, 256mb, 512mg, 1GB. I can't tell how much space your son would need, but the smallest (64mb) would be enough to store a thousand Word documents, 100 digital camera pictures or 20 mp3 songs. This sounds a lot, but they fill up fast!
I would expect to pay £15 for a 128mb one (£10 if I looked hard enough).
There are no real differences except size and appearance (and perhaps quality - if there are "user reviews" then read them), so they're one of the easiest computer things to buy. :beer:0 -

Also, when searching, call them "flash drives" - I was just looking on play and that seems to be the most common name for them.
