Emergency Help needed CCTV!!

Well some little s*)& w^%$£" g$% f^&&*( t*(*&^ has decided to target my parents. For the last two nights they have had both their car windows smashed in on the drive.

They are fairly certain who it is - a boy who bullied my little sister at school and who has been recently sent her very very threatening messages by sms and msn- i've advised her not to delete them.

The police have been contacted and whilst they have given them a crime number they are unable to do much at present. They have advised them that if it happens again they can provide their own surveillance equipment. However I know from experience this can take a long time, several months for an estate that had severe arson problems that I worked on previously - my association ened up buying additional equipment necause it was only a metter of time before someone got seriously hurt.

There is no homes facing theres as a business across the road. I've told my mum to contact them and see if they can point any security cameras towards our house. I've also told them to check with the neighbours first (who i'm sure will have no complaints, my mother is lovely and incredibly popular) but to add more security lighting and make sure it goes off as soon as you get near to the house boundary. And to keep a log of any events including any dropped or silent calls.

Despite the glass being insured it has cost my parents a lot in excess, my parents are retired but still supporting my little bro and sis who are 17 and 14. And it has also really upset my mother as she has never experienced anything like this. And no one upsets my mum unless they want revenge from me - and I will get them. Its also got my sis shaky again and shes becoming reluctant about going out and may even pack in her part time job if she sees this lot!

Does anyone know where they can rent surveillance equipment? It does not need to be any fancy equipment just a motion sensitive camera. If it happens again despite the above measures they will really need some evidence as to who is doing this. Whilst I have access to equipment at work this is strictly controlled and I have no idea where to rent any. All we need to prove is that on the balance of probabilities it is this lad causing the problems then we can get a civil injunction against him.

If needs be I will call in sick at work, head down (I live 250 miles away) and if necessary stay in one of the cars, and then get out with my baseball bat when they turn up - i'm a very fast runner and I will get them.

If it is who we think it is then they made my baby sisters (although not so much of a baby anymore - shes 17 i'm 28) a misery and have had a major impact on her life. This has caused my parents an immense amount of heartache and they have spent thousands because they sent her to a new private school after what happened at her old school and the school and educational welfare could do nothing to stop it. But they won't give up, if this carries on I will get it sorted one way or the other.

Any ideas of where to get equipment or any other tips would be most appreciated. Otherwise you may see me done for kneecapping the little w$%&£"*!!!

Thank you,

Lally

It will be cheaper to buy than rent this stuff - Argos sells motion-sensitive cameras from around £50.

Scum is the only word i can think of.
Cant think of where to rent the equipment from, but what area does the equipment need to be installed in. I have a few contacts that may be near where they are. I work in ecurity and my main area is covert CCTV

  • My parents neighbour has made some cctv signs that they have put up, they are working on the lights and all the neighbours are on the lookout. A neighbour has also leant them a camcoder they are keeping it to hand so if anything happens they can try and film the culprits.

I hate the people who have done this. My sis used to be a happy girl and now she is depressed and scared. Shes 17 and some nights she still shouts for my dad in her sleep. They chased her once threatening to beat her up and she fell down some stairs and broke her ankle. I can't even beleive it as i'm writing it. I'm want to kill them, I'm going to make there lives as much as a misery as they have made hers.

I'm normally a very placid person but I just want to kill the people that are doing this. It isn't a game or a bit of a laugh they're destroying peoples lives. And the worse thing is they're getting away with it.

When I started work in Benefit Fraud I thought prosecution would be a deterrent but its not, these people don't give a damn, whats a benefit offence on top of everything else? It seems to be that you've not made it until you've been in prison. When we go out we see guys showing off their tags like its something to be proud of!

    This is seriously messed up.

Thank you all for your support, i'm still shaking but am going to calm down and get some sleep before I do something stupid, to them or maybe it would be a blessing on society.
