I read somewhere that it had gone into administration.
Not found any news on the main sites though.

Landsbanki folded yesterday and Kaupthing is in deep trouble this morning.

Savers are OK as they are now in with ING, who are in a strong position.0 -
The Treasury has also arranged for more than £3 billion of UK savers’ money that is held with two other Icelandic banks, Kaupthing Edge and Heritable Bank, to be transferred to ING Direct UK, a subsidiary of Dutch savings bank ING.

KE has gone under. There are loads of people in this forum who balance was taken out of KE but still doesn't show in Current Account. I'm one of them. So people are really worried.0
