Query on Boiler Care

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could help......
I'm an E-On customer but was wondering can i get boiler care off British Gas?
Are there any advantages of BG over E-On or vice versa when it comes to the care?
I just need something to look after my boiler over the coming months. My PCB went recently and it took a pretty penny to get it repaired! All because the previous occupier of my house has no record of when it was installed!

BG will service any CH system, not just BG's customers; they are very expensive.

Before they will place you on an annual contract, they will normally inspect your system to ensure that it is in good order; and there are some important exclusions like heat exchanger.

Loads of threads on Boiler maintenance contracts, and Martin has written an article.

You take pot-luck it seems with the level of care you receive. Some think BG great, others think rubbish.

I had excellent service from BG for years, but have stopped because it was so expensive.
