Student loan repayments abroad

Am I right in thinking that when repaying abroad, if the inflation in the country you are in (and therefore the savings rate) is lower than the UK RPI set rate on the loan, then the advice to basically not pay off your student loan is considerably less accurate? It seems only logical to me to take into account the conditions in the country to which you have moved, or am I missing something obvious? If I'm right, perhaps this should be added to the page?

I haven't heard of this but that doesn't mean it isn't true. Different countries certainly have different levels of income at which the loan becomes repayable.
