POLL: Did you get out of Icesave before 08:00, 7 Oct 08 ?
Given the recent range and fervour of views about choosing to stay or go in Icesave, I thought it would be interesting to see the numbers about the choices people made.
The intent of the poll is to gauge peoples' choices before withdrawals were blocked yesterday (7th) morning. Take your stance at 8am yesterday (the 7th) to be the one you vote with.
The results will not be traceable to individual voters.
Vote Yes if :
- you removed the bulk of your savings from your Icesave account (i.e. left a remaining balance of less than £100)
- you tried to, but don't know whether or not you have been successful (or you have found that you have not been successful)
- you would have done if it hadn't been for fixed term restrictions or isa rules
Vote No if:
- you made a conscious decision to leave a large sum in
- you moved out an amount that was above the £35k/£70k/£50k/£100k protection zone, but made a conscious decision to leave the 'protected' sum in
If you don't/didn't have an Icesave account, don't vote.
I may do a similar exercise for KE later on.
