WH Smiths 10% off
Spendless
This morning i've been shopping, picked up a couple of books in WH Smiths, on my way to the till i noticed a banner 10% off
from midday - 8pm (its our late night tonight)
Is it just me, why start a 10% sale that starts at midday ???
It was 11.50 am so i hung about, when i mentioned to an assistant that i wondered how many people had paid full price by shopping this morning she said oh we told people and saved stuff for them to be rung thru after midday.
So why have a sale starting at 12 if this is what you're going to do?
Someone explain cos i just dont get it. :-/

I suppose it's so they can look good by advertising the 10% off, but buy only having it for half a day they still make plenty of cash in the mornings.
I've given up with WHS after visiting our "revamped" high street store a few months ago - it was claustrophobic and you couldnt find anything! >:(0 -
is a mad idea to do it half the day, and from midday staff are going off on luches anyway, so there is less staff.0
