Kaupthing BACs payments - for those who are worried

I have just spoken to someone at customer services at Kaupthing.
She has assured me that, where you have withdrawn money by BACS, your balance has gone down, and you can see the transaction on your online statement then it WILL go through.
She did say that both BACS and CHAPS payments are taking longer than usual to process due to the demand!
I used this number: 08451 313233 and waited in a queue for approx 15 minutes.
I hope this helps.
