Where to save 5k for the next 6 months....

I currently have 5k in a Halifax Web Saver Account which only pays interest annually.
My girlfriend has hers in a Barclays Egg Savings account which pays interest monthly. She has been getting a better deal in terms of the amount of interest she has been getting and so I am considering moving it over to them.
Anyone else have any better options? We are saving for a house deposit and will be looking to buy in around 6 months time!
Thanks!

Egg's 6.3% instant access account seems a good deal to me. Its guaranteed to be 6.3% for the first 12 months and can you can withdraw or add to it whenever you want. With plunging interest rates I think they'll withdraw the offer soon.0

Halifax are offering 6 month term fixed rate web saver at 7%. I would open it very soon (today if possible)... the base rate has been reduced to 4.5%. That is assuming that you WILL NOT need to access the money for 6 months...
Here is the link:

The instant access ISA offered by halifax is now 5%, so 7% interset is actually a better rate (5.6% net).0
