scarflace help please

I think they are so lovely, I know you can get them singularly for about £13 but it's still a bit pricey for me.
I can probably make one cheaper but I wanted to put those silver bits on it too.
Here's the help bit - does anyone please know where I could get something like those silver bits or what they are called. Pleeeeeease
I'm assuming it's some sort of pinching mechanism to hold the fabric in??

Thank you ebaybaby, that is the sort of thing but as you say how to fix them together. It's a shame I can't find anything, I think my SIL would like one of these.
