Egg and Citigroup

I have had savings with Egg for quite a few years, and have never worried about safety.
It is owned by Citigroup, which I don't know much about to be honest
Any thoughts from other Egg savers out there?
Are you concerned at all about the safety of your savings?
I know we are covered for 50k, but some institutions are more secure than others, and I wondered where Egg stands.

Citibank are a big US bank, but while there's been a lot of rumblings about other US banks, citibank/citigroup seem to have been ok. I have been worrying about KE on and off for the last 6 weeks, Egg I am happy with.0

I haven't heard anything untoward about Egg/Citigroup on the news recently. But things change so quickly. I opened a KE account, but haven't put any more money in yet.
I also have savings with Principality, and things pretty quiet on that front too. I hope that's a good sign <fingerscrossedsmilie>
I think I was happier when I didn't have a penny
