Accessing emails through Virgin.net - anyone having problems?

I access my virgin account emails through virgin's website and for about 24 hours I've been unable to get into my account - has anyone else encountered any problems before I contact them?

Yes. I just go back to the web page after submitting email address and password.

Although their service update says the service was down as from 9.13, this is rubbish. They have had problems for the last couple of days; my email stopped functioning around 10.30pm yesterday. This is the second major service out they have had this year!

Yes they are having problems, I called them this morning and asked, also told them what the status page said, and at that time it was saying everything OK, but the email status was " last updated 10-08-2008", he said the page obviously had been updated since then and he would look into it.

What ever the status page says, you can also ring the "service announcement" number; - 0800 0524329, and at this time it is reporting a fault, although they must have "fixed" it earlier, as I received about 80 emails in one go at about 2 p m.

Mine is back to "error", just that I got all those emails from the last two days earlier this afternoon.
