Capitulation (Not an Icesave thread)

This feels like the market finding a bottom and could prove to be an investment opportunity of a lifetime. Very Very Scary.
What do you all feel?

    Dead cat bounce. The history of the Great Depression was many, many 'bottoms' reached and peeps were cleaned out each time.

    I still think we will see a 1,000 point down day on the Dow before this is all over.....S&P 500 around 750/780

    Below that :eek: ....might as well just give up !!!!

    we need capitulation and then the turn will come in the third week in october. The bottom will be bumpy until then and the market will climb a wall of worry

    ...actually I was thinking last night that the market most looking like capitulating was the Nikkei 225

    We are going to look back and say the bottom was obvious, but it is not is it?

    We all have a degree in hindsight!

    Monthly funded FTSE trackers may be a good idea - but I piled too much in to HBOS at 520p so who am I to ask?!!!!
