    It doesn't work for me! I've tried now from a samsung e820 and a sony erricsson w800i and both times the message says:

    'asterisk jinglebells pound'

    !!!

    I am typing

    *jinglebells#

    I thought it was just the fone but it's the same with both!

    I expected a tinny tune of the songs, but it's actually like a group of people singing!:T
    What a sad way I'm spending my Sunday night - texting my own home phone (just to try it out before sending to my many, many friends you understand) :rotfl:

    What network is the phone using? According to THIS site, it's not currently available with T-mobile or Virgin. Also, you are using capitals for the first letter aren't you? Don't know if it makes a difference but they're the only two things I can think may be the problem.

    Networks that can send the jingle text - O2, Vodafone, Orange, H3G and SMS enabled landline phones.

    Done it with a siemans sl55 (free txt) and it said

    asterix merryxmas pound

    then tried with my nokia 6230 (paid txt) and it sent.

    Wonder why it didnt work with siemans, has anyone else sent it using free txts?

    Ive sent mine using free O2 texts. All 3 songs in each text, Didnt use capital letter either, still works for me.
