Icesave 60 day rule in T&C......

...Icesave have a nice little rule in their term & conditions....10f misc.....saying they can freeze accounts for 60 days re exceptional market conditions...also rather annoyed re FSA saying the likely closure of Icesave as it is not yet bust and the fscs/iceland compensation scheme has not yet kicked in.....

yes, but although accounts can have their deposits and withdrawals frozen, it's actually still earning interest! IIRC, it was about this time last year the first of the icesave one year bonds came online, so the slower they take to unfreeze the accounts, the more bonds will mature and be paying out now with interest.0
