Banks v Farepak

What's the difference ?

When Farepak went bust some of the 'hardest up' people in this country lost money.Money they hadn't even earnt yet.

The amount was a 'couple of million'
Did the government help those people ?
No.
Next breath they remove the 10% tax band.
What conclusions do you draw from their actions ?

Farepak was a limited company run by private individuals.
The banks are exactly the same.

Do not be under any illusion that this massive bail out is about saving investors.
If investors totally lose confidence in the banking system and withdraw their money every bank will go belly up....simply because...their money is not there.
This is about saving the banks. They dress it up as though it's the investors they are interested in.

The investors (via taxes) are going to bail themselves out ???
Come on ...do the maths !!!!
You save my deposit by taxing me more ?

They (the banks) run the planet ...not the idiots like Alistair Dunpling or any of the other cronies (of whatever party)
Look up the fractional reserve banking system

Watch Zeitgeist..it explains the system.

Yep, Farepak was a tragedy at the time for the less well off...........now it is also a scandal !!!!

The world isn't fair, and the way it is run is always against the interests of the Workers and less well off............this is being proven daily !!!

Yes, they will dress it up and "saving the planet" .......... but essentially it is a case of preserving the status quo

Unfortunately, currently the Bankers not only have the Federal Reserve in their pocket (which they always have had) but with Hank the Bank Paulson they also control the U.S. Treasury as well !!!

What chance do a pair of numpties like Darling and Clown have ????
