There have been many threads regarding Icesave and Iceland finance over the last few weeks and especially today.
Can I suggest that they are becoming too numerous and perhaps some threads should be locked and only one specific thread dealing with the current crisis be opened - and no other?
A lot of people are concerned about their deposits in Icesave, but it seems to me that one thread where everyone can come to and voice concerns and receive advice/feedback/or whatever, is preferable to what has happened on the board today - which is total mayhem! Too much mayhem causes more stress!
I have given up counting the number of threads re Icesave that I have trawled through today and it has added to my already high stress levels, but would appreciate contributing and hearing others contributing if it was just on one thread.

Yep. Or at least thematic threads - latest official news, a discussion of news, faq, and whatnot. otherwise everyone gets lost in thousands of replies just as they do with thousands of replies.0

I don't really understand why someone with only 7 posts cares how many threads are on a particular board? Who are you exactly?

Plenty of people who use this site and these boards on a regular basis are not (regular) posters. I'm not sure that should mean they don't have a voice!0 -

At times like this many people are searching for guidance, and the OP (and mobfant) made well-intentioned and sensible suggestions. The number of previous posts the OP may have made is irrelevant. Gratuitous comments such as that quoted above aren't helpful : they simply clog up an already crowded forum.
Let it be, please, unless and until you can offer a constructive and/or informative comment.0
