I have a portable TV upstairs in my bedroom which cannot pickup Freeview by a small indoor aerial. How can I get it connected to the main aerial to pickup the Freeview signal?
Thanks

A lot depends on the layout of your house. If the main aerial feeds into a loft above the bedroom and you're in a reasonably strong signal area and there is a power outlet in the loft, something like this:

and run a lead from the second outlet through the bedroom ceiling to the portable TV.
If you have no power in the loft, you can get something that's very similar but supports "phantom power" where the power supply can be downstairs, feeding the splitter/booster in the loft via the aerial cable.0
