Funny how they lag behind the events, always. If they don't want their reputation ruined the government really need to get their act together - although I think this government (and a future Conservative one) are incapable of this. The only way for the UK is down - London only got where it did by luck and the fact we speak English.

I agree with what you are saying but I have to correct you on one little bit.
London did not become a financial centre by luck & language. London became a financial centre because we have the least financial regulation.0
