mp3 files with long filenames wont play

have a downloaded album all the tracks have long file names , the first 2 tracks are shorter and show up in media player , and play fine. however the other tracks wont show up ... and when you right click them in explorer half the option arent there such as rename.. so i cant shorten the name. on the first 2 tracks i can do this ok. any ideas how i can rename the tracks as i think this is why they wont play?

Through windows explorer you can use F2 to rename or you can try selecting the file the click and hold for 1sec.

just tried the f2 and it doesnt do anything on these files.. it works on the first 2 tracks .. for some reason several options are not available i've never seen this before i used to work with computers!

more info: the files that are ok are around 102 characters long and the ones that are stuck must be about 105+ characters, is there some sort of limit?

fixed it... renaming the folders below the file to shorter names has allowed me access to the files again, it must have been the whole length of the path and file , not just the file itself.
