Icesave - Points To Clarify

There's so many threads covering all sorts of things. Hope this thread will get the key known/advice out in the open.
1. Stop with the blame folks about Martin - I don't blame at all; there's a problem and the people like me that have been affected need help and reassurance
2. Is there anything Icesavers can do to make sure they are protected as much as possible e.g. printing off statements
3. I'm really worried because I really do need access to my money to commute to work and lots of money that I need to pay out next month, single parent - how can they stop me getting my money - absolute nightmare!
4. Is it now safer to hide money under your bed than put it in a bank?!
5. Do we know if ISA entitlement will be lost?
6. If it's going to take up to 4 months to get money if things keep going the way they sound, where is my money being held and who will be getting the equivalent interest!
Just wish they could come out and give clear advice. I've been having palpitations.
Hope you all are coping.
If anyone can help, please help.
Thanks

Bob,
I am sure there will be clear advice when the situation becomes much clearer. Hopefully over the next few days. I guess my advice would be to relax and try not let it get to you.
I have an account and an isa. Both were for longer term savings, so I really do not need immediate access, so I will remain chilled and hope the guarantee schemes are true to their word. I understand that it will take a long time but hope we all will be ok in the end.
