I have 10k outstanding on a Halifax CC with 0% until Feb 2008, I have invested the 10k with ING. Am just a bit oncerned that if the banking system fails that I may not be able to withdraw the 10K from ING to repay the Halifax. Must be lots reading with similar potential issues. I am considering withdrawing the 10k now and clearing the debt early. What would you advice ?

I've been stoozing for about a 13 months over 5 cards which all come to an end from Nov - March 09. I have 12k of cash in Birmingham Midshires but like you feel that I am going to pay these back early to avoid any problems. I have made some good money out of stoozing this last year but my mortgage is due in March 09 so was planning on paying back early to enter the mortgage market debt free!
Recent events has convinced me paying back even sooner is best for me! Guess its personal choice.
Good luck with it!0
