actually posted by another MSE member in the daily newspaper thread even before yours appeared.

You saw the ad on TV, hence the MSTV code - no mention of newspapers in your OP.

I must admit im a little disappointed MSE. I have never had a post feature in the newsletter or front page and when I clicked on the newsletter link I half expected my post to be there.

Seems another member is getting a huge amount of thanks and recognition for something I posted much earlier.

88 thanks and counting for the OP (no sorry not OP-that was me) that would have been very nice as a small amount of recognition for an early and useful find!!- but like a pint of Murphys im not bitter (yes I am lol)

Well no one thanked me for providing the freephone 0800 number

My partner tried the free phone number but was told cannot put through and given another 0845 number so did not actually help other wise I would have gladly thanked you.

No offence but a little bit of a diffence between a find appearing in the news letter/front page credited to someone else and listing a freephone number to an existing thread and not getting thanks

I understand how you must feel, and also Sillymeee who also posted this offer about the same time on a different board...:o
Posts can be, and are regularly altered slightly so that all relevant details are included, if one is featured in the weekly email.
I also thanked Vinylmusic, as he was trying to help with his freephone number, as opposed to the very expensive 0845 number...;)

I think it depends on how you ask when you get through.
They tried that 0845 one on me. I said my phone provider only allows me to call freephone or landline numbers.
    I was then transferred.
They do have the ability to put you through, they just try not to.
    You have to insist.
