Another Icesave question - Is it really that bad??

Is Icesave actually finished, or is it possible they could open up again? From what I understand, The icelandic government hasn't decided whether to liquidate the company. Does this not mean that the government could end up taking over the running and the compensation scheme will not be needed? Does anyone else think that the media is still trying to talk up the problems and creating panic just to get a good headline? That's how I feel, if savers don't get their money bank, Icelands reputation will be ruined for an extremely long time, which I don't any government would allow.

Personally, I think everyones savings are still safe, and a bit more calm is needed. My money is locked up in there too, but at the minute, I'm not too worried!
