2 Year old Sharp TV not working

Options
Hi I went to switch on my tv this morning and the volume came on really loud, then it started flickering then it went off and started to smell funny. Now it won't switch back on. Has anyone had any dealings with sharp in the past, does any one know how much it might cost to repair. I didnt expect a £400 tv to breakdown after just 2 years. Needless to say i didnt take out extra warranty.

Under the Sale of Goods Act you can make a claim for appliances up to six years old. Look up the guidance on the web.
