Renting out my house

Can anyone recommend a decent step by step guide or any advice for someone looking to rent out a house that they own?
I inherited my 3 bedroom house through my mother who passed away when i was 15, im now 21 and im soon to be moving to the USA to live with my girlfriend. Most of the guides ive read start getting into morgages & how to rent out your house if your only going away for a while neither of which apply to me?
Id greatly appreciate any help anyone can offer! Thankyou. :T

if you are planning to move abroad why dont you just sell it, may save hassle in the long run as you would need to get agents involved and pay them a whack of the rent received every month0

Or rent it to friends or relatives so less formal and more trusting if you know what I mean.....It is a good idea to rent it out as Im not saying it will go wrong for you in the USA but if at all it did now or years down the road you will have the house to fall back onto.....:hello:Time2start a new year diet for a new me:j0

Would be well worth looking on a site like landlordzone . If you're renting without someone over here to look after things for you I would also shop around and get advice from other landlords/tenants for a decent agent to manage things for you.One day I might be more organised...........

have a look in your local paper for letting agents and speak to a few of them.0
